Wild, Windy Couple Shoot in Holyrood Park

Finally – I’ve had my first shoot in wonderful Scotland! Super talented Maighread Simpson and her husband posed for me in Holyrood Park a delightfully golden afternoon. It was a rare kind of weather that day, but super windy and freezing. They put up with it, and the images turned out gorgeous. Mostly because these two are super beautiful! But I can’t help giving the light some credit. This time I also opted for a bit different style in my editing, just for fun.

I can’t wait to see what more Scotland has in store, and I’m thrilled that I’ve already booked a few weddings in this beautiful country.

Oh! And on Valentine’s day I’m second shooting for the incredibly chill, fun and also talented, Marc Millar, and guess what? The groom is Norwegian and the wedding is at the more than fabulous Balmoral hotel. Can you tell I’m excited? I’m SO missing the glamorous lifestyle of being a photographer full time, which has not been possible now right after I moved to Scotland as I unfortunately couldn’t carry my brand and clients with me… Ok, I’ll let you in on a little secret – a wedding photographer life isn’t that glamorous, but it certainly is every now and then. And I would also like my freedom back, please.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this wee (yes, that is my new favourite word) photo series, and to see you around in the fabulous city of Edinburgh in the future!
