She said YES! Brian totally surprised the love of his life on a sunset stroll in Holyrood Park! This fun, loving, happy couple came all the way from Canada, and I think it’s safe to say they enjoyed the trip.
I’m over the moon with these photos of the fabulous Laura & Jake in the absolutely stunning Scottish Highlands. We ventured all the way from Edinburgh and Glasgow, respectively, to Glen Etive for their engagement shoot.
I couldn’t have dreamt of better weather to shoot in while I was in Gjøvik for a few family photoshoots last weekend. Overcast and reasonably cold, with snow covered trees and beautiful surroundings made for a brilliant backdrop for this happy family on Eiktunet.
I love using Edinburgh as a backdrop for photoshoots. This historical, beautiful and diverse city is just something else! We started off close to sunset on a cold November day, near Grassmarket in Edinburgh and ventured up to the Royal Mile with a few stops along the way. Edinburgh’s streets and closes are just stunning.
I love it that every time I go back to Norway, and especially Gjøvik, my previous clients are booking family shoots with me! This family had their photos taken of their first child a few years back, and now I have been privileged enough to be chosen as their photographer for a little sister.
This is a shout out to Gjøvik’s very best family photographer Monica Holthe Kingswick! She is such a talented and hard working single mum making ends meet with photography. I have so much respect for her, and just loved that she wanted a photo shoot with me once in Gjøvik.
I simply can’t wait for this couple to get married in Cairo next summer, and I’ll be there with them! I am honoured and proud they’ve picked me as their photographer, and to warm up we had an engagement shoot in Oslo while I was there a few weeks ago. This couple came all the way from Kvinesdal to do this shoot, and went above and beyond to help me organise the shoot with flowers from Blomsteratmosfære.
These beauties are getting married in Glasgow University Chapel in July, and lucky me – I got to shoot their engagement AND will be shooting their wedding when summer comes. This selection of photos was taken in Kelvin Grove park, where we had a wee session after our meet-and-greet at Tinderbox cafe on West End.
You can never be fully prepared for family photography, especially photographing children – they’re all so different, and that’s what makes it fun. Sometimes they’re shy. Sometimes not! Like this little fellow, all energetic and ready to go. George was an amazing model for the camera – and I was running to keep up with him!
Finally – I’ve had my first shoot in wonderful Scotland! Super talented Maighread Simpson and her husband posed for me in Holyrood Park a delightfully golden afternoon. It was a rare kind of weather that day, but super windy and freezing. They put up with it, and the images turned out gorgeous. Mostly because these two are super beautiful! But I can’t help giving the light some credit. This time I also opted for a bit different style in my editing, just for fun.
