After a short immediate family shoot, Tyler and Steven followed me for some photos around the city centre, until they went to get marriet at Augustine United Church, continued by their reception in Greyfriars Kirk, just a stonethrow away.
It started out to be a pretty rainy, windy and possibly gloomy day in Stavanger on 19th August. Our bride and groom didn’t let this stop them from pursuing a beach photo shoot after their ceremony in Stavanger, and were rewarded by all kinds of weather, mostly including NO RAIN! Which is a pretty big deal on the west coast of Norway.
I was so nervous to photograph this wedding! Solveig (the bride) is a fellow wedding and fashion photographer that I got to know after a workshop with the Norwegian Wedding Magazine in 2014. I was also incredibly happy to do it, as both Solveig and Kenneth (the groom) both knew exactly what they wanted with their wedding – to celebrate love with their closest family and friends, party all night long, in style. The perfect recipe for a perfect wedding!
I was honoured to photograph Rikke & Simen’s elegant and classy wedding on this rainy september day. Of course, like always, the skies cleared for our photo shoot, but the day was looking pretty grey and dark in the early hours. Anyways, this wasn’t going to discourage this incredibly happy couple and their guests from having the best day ever!
