From the moment they booked me for their wedding, I was drawn into Laura and Jake’s wedding planning. I loved how Laura sent me little updates on Snapchat as they went, especially when she found the one wedding dress. After a lovely meeting over a couple of drinks in Edinburgh, I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding at Fasque Castle, midway between Dundee and Aberdeen.
Especially after our awesome couple shoot in the Highlands that was photobombed by a stag, I just knew this wedding was going to be amazing.
I loved how this wedding was styled with rose gold, copper, marble, succulents and lush green! A fresh breath of style for traditional castle surroundings. Lovely, happy, dancing guests set the vibe for the night. I’m so grateful Laura and Jake booked me for their wedding, and I’ve been eager to share the photos with you! Again, a lengthy post because I simply couldn’t narrow it down without excluding photos I love.
A shoutout to the amazing vendors helping to make this castle wedding unique and beautiful: Humanist celebrant Bryan Begg from Ceremonies Scot, jaw-dropping lace, campagne lined wedding dress from Eddy K, shoes from Miss Selfridge, make-up by Lauren Alexandra, videography (see the teaser video below the post) by White Balloon Films, amazing creative venue styling and bouquet by Tupelo Tree, grooms attire from ASOS, and catering by Sinclairs and decorative dancefloor letters by Illumin8. Last but not least, a shoutout to my second shooter Dave Fallon.
