It’s about time I blogged this wedding I photographed at Kinkell Byre a few months ago. I haven’t blogged a wedding in forever! The last wedding I blogged was this one from last summer in Norway. One reason for this is because it’s SO difficult it is to pick images for the post without going overboard. Another reason is that it takes forever to create one I like + writing this copy takes some serious dedication too 😉 but you can just skip the words and head straight to the pretty parts, i.e. the pictures.
Or why don’t you just watch the YouTube slideshow instead – it’s got more images and it makes more sense story wise to watch it too. Nevertheless, there’s a big selection of photos from Ruth + Shane’s beautiful wedding at Kinkell Byre below in my favourite blogpost format.
A wedding at Kinkell Byre, St Andrews is perfect for a big party!
Kinkell Byre is the perfect wedding venue for a BIG party. It’s beautiful and spaceous, and you don’t have to wait for any rooms to turn around between ceremony, speeches and dancing – your can go straight to the dance floor when you feel like moving your feet! That means the perfect recipe for a stress-free day – who want to spend time waiting around for the party to start after dinner?!
Kinkell Byre is also at one of my favourite areas in Scotland: St Andrews. For some reason it’s always been a beautiful day when I’m there, and I hope to go back in the future! Because of the beautiful scenery, there’s always an opportunity for beauticul photographs as well. Rain or shine, or golden hour!
Below are my favourites from this wedding, including details such as the gorgeous 1920s style wedding dress, greenery decoration, Rusty’s Pianobar, bespoke cocktails, fairy lights, and an amazing dancefloor!
