This wedding at Edinburgh Zoo is one of my favourites to date! It is such a lovely venue. Sadly you can’t really (effectively) incorporate the animals in your photographs, so we stuck around the grounds which are also great for photos. However, Bill & Sue gave their guests free time to roam the zoo between the ceremony and dinner!
I love the bright and airy ceremony room on the second floor of Edinburgh Zoo Mansion House. It’s super delicate, and so is the prep room where Sue Yin and her sisters arrived an hour before the ceremony to get their dresses on while guests arrived. Like with most venues I recommend, a wedding at Edinburgh Zoo is super convenient as you never have to wait around to have rooms turned around between events.
We went through the pictures earlier in the week and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We love them. They perfectly capture the spirit and atmosphere of the day. They will be something that Sue & I can always look back on and cherish. Thank you.Bill & Sue Yin
Other similar venues to Edinburgh Zoo Mansion House is Fasque Estate, or Drumtochty Castle. However, these are not anywhere near Edinburgh City Centre! I wrote a blog post earlier this year about my favourite venues. If you’re interested in seeing more, hop over here.
If you want to see Sue Yin & Bills wedding in slideshow format, I’ve added it to my new YouTube channel! Click here to jump to YouTube. You can also scroll all the way down on this page to see an embedded version of their wedding at Edinburgh Zoo!
Wow! You scrolled through the whole blog post! Well done 🙂 As promised, here’s their full day wedding slideshow. Hope you love it!
